Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Chromatic Water Sort (formerly Liquid Water Sort) mobile application ("Game", "App") provided by SPVN TECH. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information.

2. Game Access and Account

  • Guest Mode: You can play the Game in guest mode. An account is not required to play.
  • Optional Sign-In: You may optionally sign in using Google Sign-In or Google Play Games (where available) to access cloud save features.

3. Local Data and Cloud Save

Local Data: Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device until you clear app storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app. There is currently no in-app Reset Local Progress button.

Cloud Save: When you use optional account-linked backup, Firebase Authentication identifies your game account and Cloud Firestore stores progress under that account. Saves include completed and unlocked levels, save format and update metadata. They also include a gameplay checkpoint: Hearts and refill credit, the current puzzle and attempt, a limited undo history, assistance/reward usage, recent best scores and win streak. We use this information to restore progress and resolve saves across devices.

4. Authentication and Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, provide game functionality, or serve advertisements. These services include:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase Authentication
  • Cloud Firestore
  • Google Sign-In
  • Google Play Games
  • Google AdMob

Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication process sign-in credentials/tokens, account identifiers and available profile information, such as your name, email address and profile image, to authenticate you and link your saves. Firebase also processes connection information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure authentication. You do not provide your Google password to SPVN TECH.

Optional Google Play Games sign-in, where available, uses your Play Games identity and authorization to authenticate or link your app-specific Firebase account. Game backup is stored in Firestore. This version does not submit achievements or leaderboards or use Play Games Saved Games for progress storage. Google processes information for its own sign-in and Play Games services under its policies.

Information is shared with Google services as needed for sign-in, cloud backup, advertising and service security. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy and security information. The app also checks our HTTPS version endpoint; our website and network providers receive connection metadata such as IP address for delivering and protecting that service.

5. Advertising and Consent

The App uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertisements and interstitial advertisements. Google's Mobile Ads SDK processes IP addresses (which can indicate general location), app/ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and identifiers such as advertising ID, app set ID and, where applicable, account-related identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Processing depends on SDK configuration, your device and available privacy choices; guest play does not disable advertising-related processing.

Google's User Messaging Platform manages consent prompts where required. Ad requests are gated by its consent status. You can revisit available choices through Ad privacy choices in the game and manage your advertising ID through Android Settings. See Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.

5a. Optional Heart Refill Notifications

Heart Refill Notifications are off until you enable them in game Settings. When you run out of Hearts, reminders can notify you once when the first Heart is restored and once when all Hearts are restored. If you already have Hearts, only the full-refill milestone applies. There is no notification for each intermediate Heart. Reminders are shown while the game is in the background; Android power management may delay or suppress delivery.

Turning reminders OFF cancels pending reminders. Notifications only remind you to return: they never grant Hearts or control regeneration. Denying notification permission does not prevent gameplay or Heart regeneration.

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: displays optional Heart reminders on supported Android versions, with your permission.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: restores eligible scheduled Heart reminders after a device restart.

The reminder preference, scheduling information and delivery markers are stored locally on your device. The reminder feature reads local Heart state and schedules Android notifications; it does not send these reminder settings or schedules to our servers or Firebase. Account-linked gameplay checkpoints, including Heart state, are handled separately by cloud save as described above.

6. Data Retention

Local progress and settings remain on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. Account-linked game progress and checkpoints are stored in Firebase/Cloud Firestore until deleted. When an in-app deletion succeeds, the selected active cloud data is deleted as part of that operation; account deletion also removes the app-specific Firebase account after verification. We do not impose a 90-day waiting or retention period on this active game data after successful deletion.

Website connection and security logs are separate from your Firebase game save and follow the server/CDN logging and rotation settings. Deleting active game data is not a promise that provider-managed backups or security records are erased at the same instant. Data independently controlled by Google is subject to Google's retention and deletion policies.

7. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your app-specific data using these controls:

  • Sign Out: Does not automatically delete saved progress.
  • Clear storage or uninstall: Removes local app data through Android; there is no in-app reset button.
  • Delete cloud save: Deletes your active Firebase/Firestore game progress and gameplay checkpoint, while keeping your app account and device progress.
  • Delete account & cloud save: Deletes your app-specific Firebase account and its active cloud game data after verification, while keeping device progress.

Account deletion requires verification through your sign-in provider. Wait for the app to confirm success: a failed or interrupted request is not confirmation of complete deletion and may need to be retried. These controls do not delete your Google Account or Play Games profile, and cloud deletion does not remove local progress. See our Data Deletion page for instructions and requests without the app.

Requests sent to [email protected] are handled manually by the developer. Account ownership is verified before deletion; sending an email does not itself delete an account. There is no mandatory 90-day waiting period for these requests. Do not send passwords, OTPs, authentication codes or tokens.

8. Security

We use access controls and encrypted network connections to protect account-linked data. No security measure is entirely foolproof, and no method of data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not designed or marketed for children.
